Narrabeen Lagoon Mini Trail
Percy Possum shook his head in disbelief!
Poor Brenda Blue-Bill. How did it happen and who was to blame?
Only you can solve the clues and determine the culprit and the cause of death!
This beautiful, easy 3.4km adventure is designed as a shorter alternative to completing our other 8.4km Narrabeen Lagoon Circuit Trail. It starts & ends at different locations, so transport needs to be considered. From Middle Creek Reserve, it will take you clockwise, over boardwalks and bridges, through sanctuaries and a beautiful picnic and play area to Berry Reserve. You will see the range of nature enroute and learn about a special aboriginal man found nearby. Our 2 Narrabeen trails are different, so you can enjoy both if desired.
Walkers, cyclists, wheelchairs and strollers share the tracks, so stay on the left and listen for bells if people want to pass! To make things easy, there are toilet stops at the start, middle and end, a playpark, barbeque areas and several water taps.
This trail is written to end at Berry Reserve where nearby cafe's can supply that celebratory coffee or ice-cream!
Please note, the lakeside walk is mostly at water-level. Significant rainfall or flooding may make some paths muddy or impassable. A good indicator is the local Wakehurst Parkway road. If this is closed due to flooding, try another day!
A word about parking……
Middle Creek Car Park is free to Northern Beaches Residents with Beaches CarPark stickers
The Berry Reserve Car Park on Pittwater Rd, allows 2-3hrs free parking. (Do check signs as subject to change) At busy times you may need to use nearby street parking.
