Yes, they are intended for use just within the family that purchased them. People need to use their own discretion and a lot of honesty here. It is absolutely fine to invite a friend to go along with your only child. It is also fine to swap a parent for a parent's friend. However, if you buy a single copy then host a 12 child party, or use if for the Year 5 social, or if you have a family copy then invite another family to come along and they use your copy rather than buying a copy of their own to do at the same time, that's obviously of questionable integrity and we don't really want to model that to our kids, do we! It is also an infringement of proprietary T&Cs.
To assist you, PuzzleTrails can be contacted at any time to happily organise an amazing excursion for birthdays, other parties, corporate events or larger groups, eg school, daycare, scouting etc.

They are based on 2 children with some adult overseeing, to avoid too much retracing of steps. They do include time for water stops, toilet breaks and stopping to admire views. That said, feedback suggests that when you add more kids, bring friends as well as siblings or leave the children to manage the trail themselves, timings can extend considerably. So, you might want to consider this in your planning.
This varies by trail. Where this is easily achievable via additional points of interest or where access is only by car, they are circular. Those that aren't are serviced by ample public transport.
If you would like us to arrange this. Cost will be determined subject to destination.
Unless the location is selling food approved by an animal welfare body, I would suggest not. Human picnic food is rarely good for their little tummies and we do want to protect our wildlife.
Your downloaded Trail Guide, water, a hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera, good shoes (or sticky plasters!) snacks, wallet.
All Trails indicate if dogs are allowed. This is marked on the front cover and you can filter by this. We try to make all trails accessible but wildlife and National Park rules often dictate that dogs aren't allowed or must remain on leads.
Retrace your steps to the last clue and try again. Most clues are missed just due to distraction and are easily found the second time.
Each trail requests you to post a review/photo on Facebook/Instagram for us. You can do as many of these as you like. Every 3 months, we will pick the best/funniest review or photo and award a prize. The more trails you do, the more likely you are to win!
All trails are designed for children, ensuring plenty of facilities en route. They are also clearly marked within the Trail Guide.
