How can you get your kids out walking?

Sometimes getting kids out walking needs diversionary tactics!

Never ask “shall we go for a walk”!  Ask “who wants to have an adventure in the forest”......
In less interesting bits, see who can do the silliest walk or chose a walk that everyone copies.......
Play follow my leader.......
Play hide and seek.......
Send the children ahead to hide and ambush you.......
Make one the photographer or cameraman.......
